Deleting External Data Sources

Before deleting data sources is it good practice to identify where the data source is being used. Once you have identified where the data sources are being used, remove any references to the data sources before deleting them. If the references are not removed, the user will receive an error message when using the Zoom feature on the page where the data source was being used.

Follow the steps below to delete external data sources.

  1. From the SmartSolve Administrator Tools tab, select Utility > Configure Data Sources.
Result: The External Data Sources window is displayed.
  2. Click the icon next to the external data source to be deleted.
Result: The Confirm Delete Operation window is displayed.
  3. Click the OK button.
  4. Click the Save button.
