Viewing Audit Trail Attachments

Follow the steps below to view Audit Trail attachments.

  1. Access Audit Trail from either of the three methods outlined below.
    • Home tab > Setup and Policy > Setup or Smart Solutions tab > Admin and Report > Setup from the SmartSolve Portal page - To view the history of setup object additions, modifications, or deletions, access the Setup Object (i.e., Department list). Then, right-click and select Audit Trail.
    • SmartSolve Records - From any SmartSolve record, right-click, select Audit Trail. This allows the user to view any pertinent changes to records. In addition, the Activity folder in each SmartSolve record contains information regarding the transactions made to records, such as; check out history, opening and closing of records, etc. Only users with appropriate rights can access the Audit Trail.
    • Administrator Tools - From the SmartSolve Portal page, click the Administrator Tools tab. In the Administrative Reports section of the list, select Audit Trail.
  1. Click the attachment name assigned to the Content field to view the attachment.

NOTE: The attachment is viewable in audit trail even if the file has been deleted.

Audit Trail tracks changes (insert, delete, modify) to attachments. The following audit trail information is recorded:

NOTE: Content changes inside an attachment are not tracked.
