Guidelines for Applying Properties

Since Control propertied determine the behavior and look of a report it is important to determine the following when setting Control properties:

The behavior that the report should exhibit when interacting with the end user.
The business rules that need to be applied (filter and sort conditions, conditional requirements, etc.).
Which calculations are to be set up.
Where standard data that is to be represented in the report will be pulled from.
