Accessing Properties

Properties settings determine the behavior of the controls that the end user experiences when using a report. Properties are arranged in groupings. These groupings determine the types of modifications that will affect the report.

Follow the steps below to access the Properties tab:

1. Access the SmartInsight Designer.
2. Open an existing report or create a new report.
3. Select or add a control to the Design canvas layout.
   Result: The Properties tab, located in the Design Panel, automatically displays the available Properties for the selected control.
