Configuring Link Targets

The Link Target links to the previous (parent) entity.

Follow the steps below to configure a link target.

1. Access the Report Model Designer.
2. Select Setup > Report Model from the SmartInsight Designer main menu.
   Result: The SmartInsight Model Designer window is displayed.
3. Open an Existing Report Model.

4. Double click the link target to be configured.
   Result: A drop down list displays the available link targets.

5. Select the applicable link target.

6. Click Report Model > Save to save your work.

Example Link Target

In this example, the Target is the Actor field.

1. Click the drop down button in the Link Target column for the Issues.
   Result: All fields in the Complaint top level entity are now loaded.
2. Select ACT_ID.

3. Click Report Model > Save.
